Jazz Auditions are live at austin hs on Friday 2/27/26

Rhythm Section Auditions: 5:30-6:00pm

Saxophone Auditions: 6:00-6:45pm

Trumpet Auditions: 6:45-7:25pm

Trombone Auditions: 7:25-8:00pm

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your section's time to check in.

Materials to prepare:

• Region Jazz Swing Etude excerpt, DO NOT play written tempo, play at 120-160 bpm.

• Tenor Madness - Play head of the tune one time plus one chorus of improv.

*Note: There will also be a short in-person sight reading excerpt.
